When your slip locks, why Friday kick-offs matter, and how to avoid missing a round.

The deadline is the last moment you can submit or change predictions for that gameweek. After that, the slip is fixed in your history. Points only count from picks made before the cut-off.
Most rounds use the first scheduled kick-off as the cut-off. One Friday night game locks the entire gameweek. Assuming Saturday afternoon is still open is the classic mistake.
Cups and international breaks sometimes leave fewer than six fixtures. You may still get leaderboard points; the six-score jackpot might not apply. The hub flags eligible rounds.
Deadlines show UK local time. Abroad on holiday? Convert carefully. If your calendar disagrees with the countdown on the predictions page, trust the countdown.
You can watch results roll in and see points update live. You cannot add the fixture you forgot. Phone reminder, one hour before first kick-off, especially on weird weeks.
