Points land after the final whistle. Normal time only: 90 minutes plus stoppage. Extra time and pens in cup ties do not count unless your competition says otherwise.
You pick home and away goals before the deadline. Once the clock stops, the slip is locked. No sneaking back in because someone got injured in the warm-up.
Exact scoreline: 3 points. Right goal difference but wrong score (you said 2-0, it was 3-1): 2 points.
Right result, wrong margin (home win, away win, or draw): 1 point. Wrong outcome: zero.
Some rounds pay a bonus if you call the result of every match in the gameweek. That sits on top of your match points. Handy on weeks when you did not nail any exact scores.
Bonuses are not the jackpot. The £5,000 prize needs six exact scorelines in an eligible six-fixture round. Different track, different rules.
Four or five exact scores in one gameweek can unlock site-credit tiers. Six hits the full jackpot. Thresholds are on the predictions hub and can vary by competition.
Season tables run on total points. One lucky 3-point score helps for a week. A decent run of correct results wins over the long haul.
After each round, note what you would have scored with different picks. Beats blindly chasing 4-3 every week.
Evenly matched sides? 1-1 or 2-1 home win is a sensible anchor. Favourite at home with a patched-up defence? 2-1 or 3-1 might fit better than a clean sheet.
Tie-break rules live in the competition terms. Sometimes earliest submission wins a dead heat; sometimes it does not. Enter when you are happy with the slip, not just when you are early.
