World Cup Group Stage Prediction Checklist
Group stage moves fast. A short checklist before you hit submit on a World Cup round.
World Cup group stages pack a lot of football into a short window. On Perfect Score each stage has its own fixtures and its own deadline. You enter every match in that stage before it locks, not the whole tournament in one go.
Third games in a group are weird. Teams already through rotate. Dead rubbers can finish 0-0 while both sides are happy. Low-scoring picks make sense when neither team needs to chase goals.
Before you submit
Check the deadline and which time zone the site is using. Scan team news for suspensions. Some sides need a specific win margin to qualify on goal difference; that affects how open a game might be.
Try to fill in a whole stage in one sitting if you can. Host cities spread across North America mean kick-offs at awkward local times. Missing an early game because you forgot about Mexico City vs Toronto is a painful way to lose points.
Fixtures and brackets sit on the World Cup hub. Once groups are done, our knockout guide covers the bracket stage.
