Premier League Gameweek Deadlines Explained
The deadline is not always 3pm Saturday. Here is how cut-offs actually work before you miss a round.
Each gameweek locks at a published time, usually tied to the first fixture in that round. After that, your slip is fixed. No edits, no panic changes because someone pulled out in the warm-up.
Friday night football and Saturday lunch kick-offs catch people out every season. Do not assume a standard Saturday afternoon cut-off. The timer on the predictor page is the one to trust.
When the fixture list looks odd
Cups and European weeks sometimes mean fewer than six games in a round. The hub banner will tell you if jackpot rules change for that gameweek. Worth a ten-second read before you submit.
Blank gameweeks happen too. If there is no active round, there is nothing to enter. Simple, but easy to forget when you are in a routine.
